no sew mini bunting (one sided)
Step one:
Draw yourself out a template for your flag, I worked on the dimensions of 12cm x 12cm. Remember to incorporate a 'lip' so it can be folded over without ruining the shape of your flag.

Step two:
pin the template onto the chosen material and cut out using the pinking shears. I worked out that 30 flags would run approximately 15ft in length. Once they are cut out, organise the flags in your chosen order.

Step three:
Unravel the bias/ribbon and line the first two flags up with the wrong side facing up (it is easier to glue on - trust me!). I folded my template in half and used it as a spacer between my flags to given an even distance apart. Line the edge of the lip that meets the lip with with top of the bias/ribbon. |
Step four:
Start gluing your flags one at a time onto the bias/ribbon, I found that a squiggle of glue along the ribbon held the fabric in place a lot better than dotting it. Using your fingers, smooth out the fabric along the join to avoid creases and build up of glue. Repeat this process until all your flags are on. |
